Daily Bible Verse
What is a Prayer?
Prayer is simply how we communicate with our Father who is heaven.
Do you Know how to Pray?
Below shows methods of Prayers and the simple prayer that the Lord Jesus Christ thought us whilst He was on earth. It is called the Lord's Prayer and it can be found in Mathew chapter 6 from verse 9 to 13 in the Bible.
Methods of Prayers
- Adoration/Praises - The bible says When we want to pray we should start by thanking God for all that He has done for us. We need to be grateful for what we have no matter how small we think it is.
- Confession - Once we have given God praise for all His Love for us, then we need to tell God we are sorry for all sins we have committed and ask God to forgive us.
- Make your request known to God. Now we need to ask God for whatever we want God to do for us.
- Thanksgiving- We need to believe God has already done what we asked for and thank Him from the bottom of our heart like we have already got what we asked for.
- Intercession - We need to pray for other people. Pray for our immediate family, extended family, Neighbours friends at School & Church, Missionaries as well as people we do not know.
- Conclusion - We can now bring our prayer to a close by saying the Grace and believing that God has answered our prayers in Jesus Christ Name.
The Lord's Prayer - Mathew 6 verses 9 - 13
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power and the glory are yours.
Now and for ever. Amen
hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom,
the power and the glory are yours.
Now and for ever. Amen
